Cool Rock I Saw
The Darmstadt region in Germany is rich in naturally occurring Oil Shale. Most perfect diamonds are now made in labs. One way to tell between a natural D-FL diamond and a lab one, is the lab one looks TOO perfect. In Germany, this rock gained the name Pitchblende, which means “Bad Luck”. When you found Pitchblende, you would start breaking your pickaxes, and the copper vein would run out. Bismuth naturally creates beautiful crystal structures.
